GLASSING KITS
We have teamed with Fiberglass Supply in Burlington Washington and designed a custom glassing kit for each surfboard kit.  Because
Fiberglass Supply is such a high volume supplier you always get the freshest materials.   Here's what's in the kits:
FIBERGLASS CLOTH - These
fiberglass fabrics are the standard in
the industry for most surfboard
construction.  The cloth in our kits is
4 oz. fabric.  Each kit will do two
layers to the deck and one to the
bottom.
EPOXY RESIN - Epoxy resin is the only
resin recommended for a wood surfboard.  
We use Resin Research epoxy because it
cures to a very clear and durable surface
and was specially formulated for building
surfboards. Unlike many other epoxy resins,
it has good UV resistant characteristics.
FIN SYSTEMS - The proper fin setup can make or
break your board.  Each board gets the best
suited fin system.  These are:
  • Fish - Two glass-on fins
  • Chameleon - Three glass-on fins
  • Long boards - 9" removable fin and fin box
